COMMUNITY

Art with purpose

For Will, art has always been about more than creating something beautiful. It's a way to connect, share story and give back. Through Dots of Country, Will is proud to support causes, community initiatives and meaningful collaborations, using his artwork to contribute to something bigger than the piece itself.

REBOOT MINDSET ACADEMY

Creating for something bigger

Reboot Mindset Academy is a register charity founded by former NRL players Mitchell Pearce and Todd Carney, created from their own experiences of overcoming challenges and choosing positive change. Through mental health education, resilience, leadership and life skills programs, REBOOT empowers people, particularly young people, with the tools and confidence to create positive, healthy futures.

As part of Dots of Country's commitment to giving back, Will donated an original one of one painting to the CareFactor Gala Night, where it was auctioned to help raise funds for Reboot Mindset Academy. The piece carried its own story and meaning, making it especially fitting for an evening centred around connection, resilience and creating positive change.

SUPPORTING CANCER COUNCIL

Art for a cause

In 2025, Will contributed two one of a kind pieces to RAAF Base Tindal's annual Cancer Council charity rugby league match between 17 Squadron and 75 Squadron. A hand painted crocodile skull and an original crocodile hide dot painting were auctioned as part of the fundraiser.

For Will, it was an opportunity to see his art serve a purpose beyond the artwork itself, bringing people together and helping support a cause that impacts so many families.

CREATING THROUGH CONNECTION

Collaborations

Collaboration gives Will the opportunity to take his artwork into new spaces, connect with people and bring ideas to life in unexpected ways. From creative partnerships and custom projects to community and brand collaborations, each opportunity is approached with intention while staying true to Will's art, story and connection to Country.

CROC'S COUNTRY

Dots of Country x Joanne Nasir

Will collaborated with Garrawa and Djugun artist Joanne Nasir to create Crocs Country, a collection of collaborative artworks bringing together their individual styles, stories and shared love of creating. The pieces were released in celebration of Joanne's birthday and exhibited at the Blak & Bold Markets in Darwin. A meaningful collaboration between two artists, Crocs Country celebrates connection, creativity and the beauty of bringing two artistic styles together. Selected pieces from the collaboration are still available for purchase.

OUTBACK LIFELINE

Dots of Country x Paul Arnold

A collaboration that felt like a natural fit. Inspired by Paul Arnold's aerial photography, Will created an original painting that brought their two perspectives together. With Paul capturing country from above through his lens and Will painting from a Birds Eye view, the piece blended photography and painting to interpret the landscape through two different art forms. The finished work was proudly featured in the Paul Arnold Gallery in Darwin City Mall.
